| 물론 어디까지나 예상에 불과하고 실제로 이렇게 되지 않을 가능성도 높지만, 세계 최대의 스포츠 미디어 회사라는 ESPN에서 몇해째 John Hollinger를 앞세워 이짓거리를 하고 있는 까닭은 비단, 스탯질 하기 위함 만은 아닐테지. 야구에는 SABR Metrics라는 것이 있질 않은가. 그렇다면 농구엔 APBR Metrics라는 것이 있다더라. 정확한 잣대를 가지고 평가 하자는 이야기다. 아직까지는 미흡한 것이 사실이지만 해가 지날 수록 더 많은 바로미터를 들고 나올거라 생각한다.
